About Me
I’m a Pullman native, PHS Class of ‘03, WSU alum and athlete, and a husband and father of two.
I left Pullman after college, and my wife and I lived in various communities across Washington state, but we moved back 8 years ago to raise our children here and build our life.
I’ve devoted my life to education and the development of our youth. I’ve been a teacher, a counselor, a coach, and now lead a K-12 Outreach program aimed at bringing authentic and impactful Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education to students across the region and country.
While working to create more opportunities for our youth, I’ve discovered that the organizations that make these opportunities possible are vital and require good governance. Upon that discovery, I entered into the realm of non-profit work, volunteering my time with local organizations and as a non-profit leader, I’ve both turned an organization around and helped launch a new one.
I can bring the passion, creativity, even-handedness, and compassion needed to lead and support a greater effort to make Pullman a place where people want to stay and build their lives.
